T'is the Season

One of the first cards we made for Christmas last year was this one. I saw the Yvonne's Creations 3D sheet (HJ6801) with the cute little reindeer on it and just couldn't resist it. I've layered Bazzill Basics cardstock with papers from Kaisercraft's "Tis the Season" collection.



The dies uses in the centre are Spellbinders Lacey Circles, Standard Circles Lg and Blossom Two.



The roses and blossom are from Green Tara and I've curled the stems on the roses.


The sentiment is also from Kaisercraft. The inks I've used on this card are Vintage Photo Distress Ink and Versafine Vintage Sepia.

Colours of Autumn   The challenge for May is colours of Autumn. I love Autumn in the UK where I grew up, with all the crispy leaves on the ground and bare trees. I do miss that, as we just don't get it here in QLD (although I don't miss the cold LOL). Just for Mother's Day

I am miles behind with posting some of the cards we've been making so I'm going to try and make an effort to catch up over the next week or so. To start with here is a card we made for Mother's Day. I got the inspiration from the 3D picture, which I felt would look good as two separate components on the card. The one on the inside of the card is the base image and the one of the front is the rest of the image made up into a 3D. I also gave my students the option of making this a birthday card, for those who don't have a Mum anymore or who had already made a Mother's Day card. I printed the verses on the computer for the girls.
