March Competition Winner

Hi everyone,

Well as promised I am here to announe the winner of the competition. It was a close one and we ended up with a tie between card 10 made by Pam, and card 6 made by Rhonda. I couldn't decide between the two, so the girls at Saturday's class had the deciding vote.

Pam's card is a beautiful sympathy card made using the new Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles and Spellbinders Crosses Two. A lot of work has gone into the card and even the inside is decorated beautifully.

As I said Rhonda's card tied with Pam's and again it's a beautiful card (they all were though). Rhonda has used a lime green glitter paper for the background and the flowers started out white, and were spritzed with Glimmer Mist to make them pink. The butterfly is from Marianne Designs. A beautiful card and soooo close Rhonda!

Birthday Cards

I received some beautiful cards for my birthday just recently so I thought I would share them all with you. May Card Challenge

Colours of Autumn The challenge for May is colours of Autumn. I love Autumn in the UK where I grew up, with all the crispy leaves on the ground and bare trees. I do miss that, as we just don't get it here in QLD (although I don't miss the cold LOL). So with that in mind, I thought it would make a good challenge...those gorgeous colours of autumn...oranges, yellows, greens and browns. It doesn't have to be an autumn themed card, just those colours. This one should take you out of your comfort zone and get you thinking :) TO ENTER: Simply make a card, scrapbooking page or other project following the theme and give it to me, email me a picture, or a link to your project. April Challenge Winner

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay in announcing the winner, but what a challenge we had!! So many gorgeous cards again, but one very definite favourite this time. The winner with an outstanding 17 votes is.... Rhonda Congratulations Rhonda, your card is gorgeous and tricked a number of people, who thought it was made by Pam. Nice work!! Now please forgive me if I have any of these names wrong, but I had a couple of entries with no name anywhere, so I wasn't 100% sure who made them.
