February Competition

The theme this month is
"Hearts"

To tie in with February and Valentine's Day the theme for this months competition will be Hearts (and no Maralene...you can't enter your card again...sorry LOL). It doesn't have to be a Valentine's day card though, it just needs to have at least one heart on it somewhere. So it could be a heart shaped sentiment, a cut out heart centre, anniversary card, wedding card...or even just a heart shaped embellishment. The possibilities are endless really!



Important
One change I would like to make this month to keep everything fair and above board...please do NOT show anyone your card prior to entering it in the competition. Please hand it to me in either an envelope or paper bag that cannot be seen through.
All cards will remain annonymous until after the votes are placed and the winner announced.


TO ENTER:
Simply make a card, scrapbooking page or other project following the theme and give it to me, email me a picture or a link to your project. The winner will be drawn on Saturday March 3rd after class.

THE RULES: 
The rules are very simple and are as follows:

The card/project must be your own design and made by you.
You can enter as many times as you like.
If you hand me the card in person please put it in a paper bag or envelope with no name on the card.
All cards handed to me will be returned after the competition. If posting your entry please include a SAE envelope if you want it returned.
Entering the competition entitles me to publish a picture of your card/project and your name on my blog.

THE PRIZE: 
The winner will receive a $20 gift voucher to spend in the store.

Competition closes at midnight on Wednesday 29th February

May Card Challenge

Colours of Autumn   The challenge for May is colours of Autumn. I love Autumn in the UK where I grew up, with all the crispy leaves on the ground and bare trees. I do miss that, as we just don't get it here in QLD (although I don't miss the cold LOL). So with that in mind, I thought it would make a good challenge...those gorgeous colours of autumn...oranges, yellows, greens and browns. It doesn't have to be an autumn themed card, just those colours.
