June Challenge

The challenge for June was “All about the sentiment”.

So that meant that the main focus of your card should be the sentiment. Again we had some gorgeous card entered and although not as many as other months it was still hard to pick a winner. The winner though was….

Pat

Pat (Mum) made this lovely pink and brown metallic card with a lovely verse about a single rose. I love that she combined the verse with the one single rose on the card as well. Very clever!

This lovely card was made by Sue and got my vote for the encouragement award. Not only did Sue come a close second with this card, but all the flowers were beautifully hand made and I loved the sentiment.

Again so many gorgeous cards were entered though, so here are all the others. Thanks girls for giving it a go and well done to you all.

Sketchy Paint Spills

In the last edition of Australian Simply Cards I had a coffee break feature. In this feature was this simple stamped card. Instructions 1.         Cut an A4 sheet of white cardstock in half at 14.8cm x 21cm .   2.       Score and fold in half at 10.5cm. 3.       Cut another piece of white smooth cardstock to 14.3cm x 10cm . 4.       Stamp the sentiment with the Versafine ink in the bottom right corner. 5.       Stamp the various paint spills and drips with the coloured inks, to your liking. 6.       Die cut the Sketchy Rings fro...
