Ok, last one for today I promise. Seeing as we're half way through October, I thought I had better pull my finger out and announce the theme for the October competition.
This card that we made in class early in the year is an example of what I mean by vintage. I know a lot of the ladies that come to my class don't do vintage cards by why not give it a go? Have some fun - distressing cards can be a lot of fun :)
THE RULES:
The rules are very simple and are as follows:
The card/project must be your own design and made by you.
You can enter as many times as you like.
If you give me the card please put it in a plastic bag with no name on the card anywhere
All cards handed to me will be returned if possible after the competition
Entering the competition entitles me to publish a picture of your project on my blog.
THE PRIZE:
The winner will receive a $20 gift voucher to spend in the store.
Competition closes at midnight on Monday 31st October
I look forward to seeing your creations.
Good luck!
For your card or project you want to make something that has an "old" look to it. You can do this by creating distressed edges, by simply inking or just using old looking pictures on your card or project.
TO ENTER:
Simply make a card, scrapbooking page or other project following the theme and give it to me, email me a picture or a link to your project. The winner will be drawn on November 1st and don't worry, I won't be judging, it will be someone who is impartial who will not know who made the cards/projects.
