Week 12 - Card 1 - Tattered Floral

By Jenelle

Jenelle has again designed a great card for us this week. We had great fun playing with Tim Holtz Tattered Floral die to make this gorgeous flower. The paper was first inked with Brilliance Pearlescent Beige ink, then embossed with an embossing folder from Provo Craft. Walnut Stain distress ink was then applied over the top to accent the embossing. The layers are held together with a brad and then scrunched up into the centre. Doesn't it look fantastic??

The actual card was made with white cs and brown Bazzill Basics cs. The design paper is from My Mind's Eye and Jenelle added faux stitching around the edges. A Spellbinders large scalloped circle in vellum was layered underneath a Marianne's Creatables doily in white linen paper.

A double bow was added across the bottom in white satin edged organza. The punch used here was a Stampin' Up design.
