I know I've been slack at updating the blog the last couple of weeks but I'll try to get it up to date this week. I had a nasty toothache last week and it made it hard for me to get anything done. i just couldn't concentrate, but thankfully it's gone now so I can try to catch up.
Firstly here are the cards we made in our second week of classes.
Firstly here are the cards we made in our second week of classes.
The first is a vintage card using Madison Avenue papers from My Mind's Eye.
I've used Pretty Dress Shop and Sisters Lace on this card for the background and the punched strips down the side. These strips were punched with a Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch.
The 3D is a Reddy Die Cut and I've used girlfriends J'Adore paper for the distressed piece of script behind the 3D.
The locket is from Spellbinders "Timeless Heritage "
Card Number Two was also made using Madison Avenue Papers from My Minds Eye.
My inspiration here was two cards made using the same papers but in totally different styles.
For this card I've used Pretty Dress Shop and Sisters Lace again and Girlfriends J'Adore but the reverse side this time for the background.
