  Bingo Card Ok, for October we are going to do something a little bit different. A Bingo Card. The idea is you choose a line from the chart shown here. You can choose any vertical line, horizontal line or diagonal line and your card MUST contain those three things. So for example: If you choose the second horizontal line, your card must include Lace, a Die Cut and a Rhinestone (or a few rhinestones) on your card somewhere. You can add other things to it, you can combine your 3 things with other elements to make your card but you MUST include 3 things from one of the lines on the bingo card. If you can place a Post-It note or a note in or on the back of your card to let me know which line you used that would be great. That will just help me to make sure everyone has followed the rules. SOMETHING OLD The theme for this competition was to make a card using something old. Something you bought years ago and you’ve never used or you haven’t used it in years. You know that thing you’ve had sitting in a drawer forever and you wonder if you’ll ever use it. I thought this would make for some interesting cards and it sure did! I have received 17 lovely entries into the competition this month and some by email as well It is hard to judge a card by looking at a print out of it, so I thought I would share all the cards online with you prior to voting this month. That way some of you will get to see a digital image of the cards first. A couple of them were really hard to photograph though, so it' works both ways. Some are better to judge face to face. Anyway, I’m not putting names on them and I’m not 100% sure that these are in the correct order but here are the cards that were entered. Something Old I was having a good clean out in my craft room the other day and I found some things I’ve had for years and some I’ve never even used. It gave me an idea for this months competition. So this month the competition is not an old card as in "vintage" but a chance for you to use something old. Let's face it we all have something in our craft room that we have had for years. Something you bought and have never used or you haven't used it in years. So bring it out and use it to make a card or project for the competition. If you have only been making cards for a short while, just grab something that you have had for a while and not used yet. Whatever you decide to use, you can combine it with something new to make your card or project if you wish. Hi everyone, Well  we didn’t get as many cards this time but we still got some beauties and judging was still just as hard. I checked the votes after class on Friday and just about every number I picked out of the barrel was a different one, so nearly all of the cards had a vote. By the end of Saturday there were 3 cards on equal votes, but Wednesday night’s class was the deciding factor. One card received 3 votes on Wednesday night and it was the clear winner (by one vote) and that was Card 8 by Rhonda Congratulations Rhonda. Your gift voucher is waiting in store for you.
