Here are a few more cards that we've made.

This first one is an anniversary card. The paper is from Pink Paislee and the inspiration for this one was the Nellie Snellen heart die. The 3D is from Le Suh and again I've used a Grommet Tag from Spellbinders. The stamp is from JustRite Stamps. I've inked the card with Versamagic Tea Leaves ink.

This one was inspired by two cards that I saw using the (then) new Marianne's Designables. I took both ideas and combined them into my own design. I just LOVE these embossing folders - the designs are gorgeous and they look so elegant. This one is a simple black and white card made on pearl cardstock. The ladies head is a Marianne's Creatables die cut in white and then cut out of black card. I've added black and silver rhinestons to finish it off.

Another one inspired by the Marianne's Designables and one of my favourite 3D's - Miniature ladies from Le Suh. This one is just on plain white cardstock with a raspberry splash Bazzill cardstock behind it. Black and white roses finish it off and you can't see it but I have also added Stickles to all the dots around the centre of the embossing.

For this one I was inspired by the Joy! Crafts pocket dies. I've used Co'ordinations cardstock, which has been inked and sanded. The flower is a Marianne's Creatables die and the border punch is a Martha Stewart design.

September Competition

SOMETHING OLD The theme for this competition was to make a card using something old. Something you bought years ago and you’ve never used or you haven’t used it in years. You know that thing you’ve had sitting in a drawer forever and you wonder if you’ll ever use it. I thought this would make for some interesting cards and it sure did! I have received 17 lovely entries into the competition this month and some by email as well It is hard to judge a card by looking at a print out of it, so I thought I would share all the cards online with you prior to voting this month. That way some of you will get to see a digital image of the cards first. A couple of them were really hard to photograph though, so it' works both ways. Some are better to judge face to face. Anyway, I’m not putting names on them and I’m not 100% sure that these are in the correct order but here are the cards that were entered. I’ll try to add what is old about them to give you a bit of an idea. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ...
