Australian Simply Cards

I have had some wonderful expressions of interest from my advert in the January edition of Australian Simply Cards. Thank you everyone. The response has been overwhelming. These are the cards that were placed in the ad so I thought I would tell you a bit about them, the dies used and the prices of these dies.  Firstly though, let me explain, I am a very small business at present, running from a shop on my property. I carry small quantities of stock, but continually order more stock in, so if I don't have something I will get it ASAP. I don't currently have a website with products on but you can sign up to my newsletter  and I will send out updates as stock arrives. Simply send me an email to kookacft@bigpond.com to request to join my mailing list.  Now onto the cards: This card is made using the Sue Wilson Caribbean Island Background die. I have cut it in ivory cardstock and teamed it up with some Pion Designs Paris Flea Market papers.  Th...

April Challenge - Pion Designs

So the challenge for April was Pion Designs - any card style, any theme, as long as it uses Pion Designs paper. I was absolutely AMAZED at the gorgeous cards that everyone came up with. The level of design was just amazing and I have to say it was probably by far the hardest challenge to predict and choose a winner. I'm so glad that I don't have to choose a winner! Well done everyone. I already have requests to make many of the cards so you may see some come up in classes in the near future. As I said it was hard to pick just one winner and the votes were quite wide spread, but a winner was chosen by everyone's votes and that was... Rhonda In the beginners section we only had one entry but it was such a cute card Shirley Congratulations girls, you both win a $20 voucher for your fantastic efforts. Here are the rest of the cards. I hope the photos do them all justice as they really are all beautiful. Pat Sharon Ri...

Ferrero Rocher Box

I made one of these boxes for Christmas and it was very popular, so after Christmas we made one in class. I changed the sentiment to Happy Birthday and I changed the flourishes as the others weren’t suitable. On the original box I used the Marianne Creatables Holly Flourish, this one uses another Marianne Creatables Flourish from the LR0116 Frame Die Set. It makes a great gift for someone when you just want to give them something small. I made the measurements specific to the Ferrero Rocher 3pk of chocolates, but you could adjust it to fit other size packs. Thanks for looking.
