Butterfly Birthday Card By Jenelle

Jenelle designed this card which was a favourite amongst many of our ladies. There was a LOT of embossing and die cutting in it, but well worth the effort. The white layer was embossed with Cuttlebug folders D'vine Swirl and Roses.

We used Nellie Snellen's Multiframe die MFD005 and Spellbinders standard circles for the centrepiece and Marianne Creatables Butterfly LR0113 layered onto that. The punched border is Martha Stewart Layered Arches and Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder.

For the flowers we used Joy Crafts 0024 & 0025 and a Carl Fern Punch for the leaves. Finally the tag is Marianne Creatables LR0154.

We've made this card in several colours now and they all look great. It's so versatile.

May Card Challenge

Colours of Autumn The challenge for May is colours of Autumn. I love Autumn in the UK where I grew up, with all the crispy leaves on the ground and bare trees. I do miss that, as we just don't get it here in QLD (although I don't miss the cold LOL). So with that in mind, I thought it would make a good challenge...those gorgeous colours of autumn...oranges, yellows, greens and browns. It doesn't have to be an autumn themed card, just those colours.
