Week 4 class cards - Echo Park

Ok, this week we used papers from Echo Park's Be Mine collection. Another beautiful range of papers that I have in store at the moment.
I've used Bazzill Basics Coal for the card and then layered Dotted Swiss Sunset Rose followed by Love Letters by Echo Park.

For this part of the card I've used the Sunset Rose card again, followed by Echo Park's Graphite/Lace and then Rose Bouquet. The label is Spellbinders Labels 17 and the 3D image is from Le Suh.

The stamp I've used is from the Just Rite nested sentiments All Occasions set

Some bling in the corners from Kaisercraft.

Card number 2 was inspired by a card I saw on another blog. For this one I've used papers from the same range as above. This time I've used Black Damask, Script Polka Dots, Love Letters and French Rose/Ash.

The Sizzix Bigz Die 3-D Flowers was used to cut out this flower and then I rolled it around to create this rose. A Kaisercraft Pearl in the middle just gives it a nice finish.

A Spellbinders label was cut out for this part and inked using Tim Holtz distress inks (Soot). A Kaisercraft stamp for the sentiment was added and then this was mounted onto the front of the card.

September Competition

SOMETHING OLD The theme for this competition was to make a card using something old. Something you bought years ago and you’ve never used or you haven’t used it in years. You know that thing you’ve had sitting in a drawer forever and you wonder if you’ll ever use it. I thought this would make for some interesting cards and it sure did! I have received 17 lovely entries into the competition this month and some by email as well It is hard to judge a card by looking at a print out of it, so I thought I would share all the cards online with you prior to voting this month. That way some of you will get to see a digital image of the cards first. A couple of them were really hard to photograph though, so it' works both ways. Some are better to judge face to face. Anyway, I’m not putting names on them and I’m not 100% sure that these are in the correct order but here are the cards that were entered. I’ll try to add what is old about them to give you a bit of an idea. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ...
